Last Updated: June 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, purchases and visits to Tipsy Teapot venues and website. By making a booking, purchasing a gift voucher or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Venue Selection
Tipsy Teapot operates multiple venues.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have selected the correct venue when making a booking, purchasing a gift voucher or making an enquiry.
Bookings, deposits and gift vouchers may not be transferable between venues unless expressly stated.
Making a Booking
You can make a booking through our website, by telephone, by visiting one of our venues or by contacting us through our official social media channels.
Your booking becomes confirmed once payment and/or any required deposit has been successfully received.
Until payment has been received, your booking may be treated as provisional and may be released if payment deadlines are not met.
Deposits
A deposit may be required for certain bookings.
Large Group Bookings
For restaurant bookings of 10 or more guests and drinks bookings of 10 or more guests, a £5 per person deposit may be required.
Each guest who attends will receive a £5 drinks token upon arrival.
Deposits relating to guests who do not attend without the required notice period will be forfeited.
Bottomless Brunch
A deposit may be required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid within the timeframe specified during booking.
Special Events
Selected events, including ticketed events, seasonal experiences and promotions, may require payment in full or a non-refundable deposit.
Specific payment requirements will be confirmed at the time of booking.
If payment is not received within the stated timeframe, the booking may be cancelled and released for resale.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking by contacting us directly.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
Large group bookings require a minimum of 48 hours notice.
-
Bottomless Brunch bookings require a minimum of 48 hours notice.
-
Christmas and seasonal event bookings may require up to 14 days notice.
-
Ticketed events may be non-refundable.
If a booking is cancelled outside the applicable cancellation period, or if you fail to attend your booking, deposits and payments may be forfeited.
Amending a Booking
You may request amendments to your booking before the cancellation deadline.
Whilst we will always do our best to accommodate changes, amendments cannot be guaranteed, particularly for large groups, special events or bookings made at short notice.
Pre-Orders
Certain events, group bookings and seasonal menus may require a pre-order.
Where required, deadlines will be advised when the booking is confirmed.
Failure to provide a required pre-order by the specified deadline may result in limited menu availability or cancellation of the booking.
Table Allocation & Arrival Times
Standard dining tables are generally allocated for up to 90 minutes unless otherwise stated.
Bottomless Brunch tables are allocated for the duration stated at the time of booking.
We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes after the booked arrival time. After this point we may release the table to other guests.
If you are running late, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Failure to attend may result in loss of your table and forfeiture of any deposit paid.
Seating Arrangements
Table layouts vary between venues.
For larger groups, we may allocate an area or collection of tables rather than a single table.
Whilst we will always try to accommodate seating requests, specific tables or locations cannot be guaranteed.
Some areas of our venues may have limited seating due to their intended use as entertainment, dancing or social spaces.
Bottomless Brunch Terms
Bottomless Brunch sessions are limited to the duration stated at the time of booking.
Alcoholic drinks are served responsibly and in accordance with licensing laws.
Drinks are served one at a time and management reserve the right to refuse further service to any guest who appears intoxicated.
All guests participating in Bottomless Brunch must be aged 18 or over.
No refunds will be provided where service is refused due to intoxication, disorderly conduct or breach of licensing regulations.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Lost, stolen or damaged vouchers cannot be replaced.
Gift vouchers may only be redeemed at the venue specified where applicable.
